Default POCKET CARRY SUGGESTIONS (CLOTHING & HOLSTER BRANDS) FOR EDC - CCW

I've got two EDC/CCW carry methods that I have been using for over 3 decades when pocket carrying. After trying many different holsters and pants here is what I have deemed numero uno. Just let me state that for the past 44 years I have basically carried only two different guns for EDC. For the first 40 it was a S&W M60 and for the last 4+ years it has been a Sig P365 - just so you know what I am referring to carrying.

The pocket holster I have found to be #1 above all the rest is the DeSantis Nemesis. It is extremely light weight, inexpensive, comfortable in your pocket, successfully breaks up the gun's profile, has a built in retention hump to keep it in your pocket when drawing Roscoe, and is sweat proof. It fully covers the trigger and guard and is made for both small revolvers and auto loaders. They do last for many many years and can be bought online and in many gun stores.

LL Bean Double L Jeans in Relaxed Fit happens to have huge oversized and deeper pockets than any other brand of Jeans I have ever tried. They are superb for pocket carry!! I've had pretty much all the major brands over the years too. As a huge bonus, they happen to be excellent Jeans, last forever and are super duper comfortable as well! BTW the pockets are super strong and have never ripped or come apart.

For shorts (if you live in a warm climate as I do now) I have found that Costco's Union Bay Cargo shorts are the ticket! They are extremely comfortable, long lasting, have great velcro on the pocket flaps and have huge "pistol pockets". They are also ridiculously inexpensive and I own at least a dozen pairs in 5 colors. BTW, they also last just about forever!!

I do not pocket carry every single day, but I'd estimate I do at least 60-70% of the time now. This is what I have found to be the best combo for that purpose and while I have mentioned all of the above in other posts over the years, I have never dedicated a Thread to this combo. Hopefully this will answer some questions some might have and bring ideas to some contemplating pocket carry. This is just what I have found works the best and as always, YMMV.
