If you don't think 2 ounces makes a difference in a 12 ounce gun then try it in an ankle holster and see. The 340PD is 17% lighter than than the M&P and it took a lot of engineering and high dollar metal to lose those 2 ounces and it's worth every penny of it in my opinion.
