Easy! Browning Hi Power (FN model P35 and all subsequent offerings). I have had one for about 40 years and will never feel complete without a Hi Power close at hand.

Smith 39. It is the only one I have and if it were not a 39, it would be one more than I want. I never carry it when something might absolutely, positively need shooting though it is quite accurate.

My EDC is a SP101 .357 but when I carry 9mm I prefer my 226R.

I love my Walher PPS 9mm with either the 7 or 8 round mag. It has a super sweet trigger and is ultra slim. But my favorite has to be HK P7. The gun has a quality build second to none. And has to best trigger of any factory semi-auto gun I've shot. The only drawback of the gun is it's weight.

Glocks and many other pistols are NOT designed to be carried without a holster.

Read your GLock manual...

CZ PO-1 for me. Deadly accurate and lots of firepower in a compact package.

I'm also not beyond planting a Kel-Tek PF9 in my pocket either, but usually its my J-frame instead.

I like my CZ-2075 for concealibility and accuracy. They are a fantastic gun and it can do 10 or 15 round mags.

+1 on the p35, (my carry is from the 60's) stock, with no mag cut off.

My favorite 'go to' carry 9 is the Kahr PM9. It's very concealable, and a great shooter; 100% reliable, accurate, and a very good trigger for a carry gun...

I used to carry an H&K P7M8 and liked it very much until I yanked the slide off during a malfunction drill. Now that I'm retired I tend toward the S&W three inch Model 65 or a Glock 23.

The Glock 19 is my favorite but I usually carry a Glock 26 since it fits in my pocket.

Bulky? Yeah, I guess. But so am I.

I've tried a few over the past few years, just bought a Glock 17 off a member here and when I get that I think it'll be a tie between that, the snub 686 and this that I just got a few days ago:

Kel-Tec P11,ten rounds of 9MM,not too bulky and fairly well made, got it for under $200 since I had $150 worth of credit from last month, retail was $299.00

Can't say I have no pistols to CCW

My favorite 9mm carry piece is my S&W 6906. At 25 oz (empty) it packs 12 plus 1, handles all sorts of loads, extremely reliable, well balanced, and still retains 1911 characteristics.

The other day I carried it using an Uncle Mikes IWB holster with a t-shirt over it. My wife said, "Not carrying today?" Carrying concealed means Carrying concealed!

I'm a fan of single stack guns. My favorites are 3913, 3914, SIG P225 and S&W 4513. When I carry revolvers, I go with S&W 442 and Colt Agent or Cobra. All of the above guns have alloy frames.

Browning Hi-Power. Actually, it's the only gun I own! In overall size, weight, and (at least in my subjective opinion!), grip shape, it feels like a three-inch K-frame S&W.

When it's hot out my Colt DSII or 3913. If going on the road or in a more high risk area my G19. Don't leave home without it. IMO the G19is Glock Perfection. Keep hoping Glock will make a sub-compact single stack 9. I'd adopt one quickly. The 3913 is one of my favorite S&W's...an excellent point and shoot and a thing of beauty.

I've got a Bersa UC9. I really like the gun and it is a great value for the $$. Very accurate and easy to carry in IWB or OWB.

I love carrying it. It's light, easy to conceal, plenty of ammo and it goes bang every time I pull the trigger.

My favorite 9mm to carry (at least until I get a couple of new acquisitions) is a Springfield EMP. The most accurate 9mm that I own is a Sig P226r out of their custom shop. It makes even me look like a good shooter! However, the EMP simply disappears in a High Noon holster at 3:00.

Three that after 40 years of carrying come to mind.....It is hard to beat the 3913-14-53. Smith should put them back in production. The Walther PPS is very easy to conceal and has one damn nice safe action trigger, (It is plastic frame ugh but very reliable) The absolute top end is and will remain the H&K P7 M8 it is the most accurate small 9mm I have ever found. What makes it so accurate is solid barrel and heavy grip, but heavy grip means you have to have the right holster. They are pricey but you can get the Euro version for a lot less with euro type mag release, and no heat shield on frame. All in all it is hard to beat the 39s Why we try to improve what was close to perfect amazes my old mind......

I have owned several different 9's over the years. None has been as easy to carry, or as satisfying to shoot as the Browning HiPower. Here is mine, with it's little brother:

Talking CCW Carry preference

As many on this forum have indicated, I too like the S&W revolver for CCW.
However, I have a Glock 19 in which I also carry.
I purchased the Glock 19 a couple of month's ago and for whatever reason, I cannot hit the broadside of a barn with it. It is NOT the gun, it is me or the fit to me I suppose.
A Glock has a wide hand grip compared to most and this is something I have to either adapt to or find a way around it.
The Glock 19 is a GREAT weapon, as far as it's capabilities, it is second to none and ONLY online research will tell you what I am talking about. Any Glock has capabilities that can only be found in some rifle's and IF you have a Class 3 licsense, it's an amzing weapon.
I first replaced the normal plastic site's w/ steel sight's and that did not help.
I am now looking at some NEW sight's that seem like they would be perfect. The website to check out these sight's is
SpeedySights.com, they are amzing.
IF, anyone has any recommendation's for reducing the Grip size on a Glock 19, please let me know.
I have no problem hitting anything with every other weapon I own, I just cannot get the feel of the Glock to my liking or comfort. However, my best Bud has NO PROBLEM at all hitting anything and everything w/ my Glock. So the problem is definetly me, I just cannot figure out why???????? AS I stated, so far the main problem I have is comfort in the grips.

3913. Light weight, accurate, uber reliable.

Easier to conceal than the Glock and the M&P. Thinner than both.

Superior to the M&P in accuracy and trigger alone, and the 3913 doesn't drop it's mags.

A set of Hogue grips makes it the perfect carry gun......in 9mm. Regards 18DAI.
