Ruger LCP .380 Video Test

Good video, but I kinda get a laugh out of the guy. He reminds me of Robin Williams in "The Survivors" with all that mall ninja stuff on. :D

Yeah, he's a character. He is all over YouTube, with videos of varying usefulness.

I owned the Kel-Tec .380 for a while. I gave a guy the Kel-tec + $100 for a Colt Mustang Plus II. The Kel-Tec will eat your finger.

The Colt is just Sweet!

I recently bought the LCP. No comparison to the Kel-Tec. Smoother trigger. Less perceived recoil, and more accurate. This is my current carry pistol.

It is much lighter that the Colt but not as accurate. The weight does make a difference.

That's good to know. A buddy of mine works in a hardware store that sells guns and they ran a sale on the LCP for $299.00. I didn't think that was too shabby. I had to have one.

I didn't see where he mentioned what ammo he fired.? Also the magazine has the finger extension so that makes me believe it is not "right out of the box" as they gave those away with the recall plus a ball cap.:) Didn't get those with my Walther.:(

I have both the KT and the Ruger and the there is not a hill of beans difference between the two other than the exterior finish which is a lot nicer looking on the Ruger and it has a metal recoil spring rod.
I am not Mr Tactical as this guy but I shot them side by side and was actually a bit more accurate with the KT.

I had one of the Kel-tecs too. And I'm with LouisianaJoe; I hate the way they grab your finger on every trigger pull. As far as accuracy goes it was great for what it was. I could make a 20 oz. Coke bottle dance at 10-15 yds.

I was also amazed with the accuracy when I first shot my LCP. It seemed to digest any ammo I used, Winchester White Box, and the new Hornady Critical Defense.

Considering the sights, and the size and weight of the gun it is amazing.

They come with the extension now. I have two LCPs. The 1st one didn't have the extension. The 2nd one came with it. For a carry gun in the front pocket, you can't beat it.

Do you suppose he had all the pouches on that tacticool vest filled with .380 ammo? If so, no wonder there is a shortage!

Just "fondled" the new Kahr 380 at the gun shop today. I think it beats both the Ruger and the Kel Tec. A bit on the expensive side in the $600 range. Pretty much a mini PM9

Kinda weird guns made by the Rev Moon ???

I left Mr. Tacticool a note. I am just not impressed with wannabes like this that bloviate and pontificate as if they knew what they were talking about.

He would raise is believability if he would just take off that stupid, childish tactical stuff.

What a fool.

The guy is a definite goof-ball, and his commentary/'review' had zero value, but he shot the heck out of that upper target...!
