Default Solingen Boy Scout Knife

I've had this knife for probably 60 years. From what I can find out it's post war though modeled after the Hitler Youth knife.
If you knife folks have any more info, $$, it would be appreciated.
The blade sharpens nicely, but scratched. Can I get the scratches out myself?

In my opinion the knife was made for export. Otherwise why would it say Germany in English. If it was made for use in Germany, it seems that it would be marked Deutschland.

Also, if it was made after the war, it should be marked West Germany, not just Germany. If it was made after the war for use in country it should be marked FRD.
