Default My Caspian, that I Picked up Used (Pics!)

Hey guys, a while back I stopped into my Gun Smith's shop (JoJos Gunworks in Southington CT) to have some minor work done a Colt 1911.

While I was there, this Neat gun caught my attention. It was in the case and they let me know it was a Complete Custom build of theirs that the owner brought back in to trade for something else.

They let me know that Brand new, it would be around a $3,000 gun. I looked at it, worked the slide, and checked the fit on everything. It was the best feeling gun I have ever handled, and point as naturally as anything I have ever held.

They explained that it was a Caspian Frame and Slide that were originally part of a batch that were Prototypes for the Sig Sauer Scorpion. The Internals are all the best of breed for what they use for Custom Builds, mainly Wilson Combat and/or Ed Brown and a KART NM Barrel.

The Trigger is undercut, the Front Strap Checkering is perfect, it is positive, but not too aggressive. VZ Grips fit it perfect.

We worked out a deal where I traded a really nice Safe Queen and some Cash, and this was mine.

This is the Best Firearm that I own, and I have some good ones.

It shoots amazing groups.

Anyway, here are some Pics, Enjoy!

Very nice! Kinda makes me wonder what it was traded for. Can't imagine.
