Default can anyone help date a colt revolver-please

Do any of you have a book to date colt revolvers. Both diamondbacks, the .38 is #S770xx, and the .22 is #S722xx. Your help will be appreciated. I know very little about Colts. Thanks for your help. Mikey

You might want to check out the Colt Forum at:

Just be careful not to refer to the grips as grips cause over there they are "stocks" because Colonel Colt said they were back in 1836 or something like that.

Thanks again for everyones help and the website info. Thanks for the heads up on the " stocks". I'm sure they don't want a S&W guy, to ruffle any Colt feathers. Mikey
