Eat your heart out, new/old Marlin "Mountie" carbine.
Manufactured in 1964,had to replace a few screws on the top of the receiver, had them in my kit. Cleaned a bit of light rust from the left side of the receiver. Perfect wood, all correct.
90% plus, all for the princely sum of:
$ 100 American dollars.
Even a blind squirrel, can occasionally find a nut.

A great, classic rifle at an astounding price. You realize, though, that without pictures, it never happened.

Better throw a bit extra in the plate this Sunday...
That's outstanding!
If your conscience gets to bothering you, I'll take it off your hands for what you have in it.

Lee, don't think I will. To neat a small carbine to do that.
As I said, I may scrounge up a tang sight for it.

Grand Larceny!!
That is an absolute beauty. In my estimation, those guns represent at least the same level of American firearms craftsmanship as S&Ws of the same era.
Congratulations on a good'un!

Yep, it's a Golden.
You can't see it in the photo, but there is a small felt "stick on" where the stock meets the brick.
And it went on the brick VERRRRYYYYYY carefully.
As to is there more ? I'll never tell, until I get 'em all...........

The 39A got lonesome. It wouldn't go outside without protection.....It was afraid some of you would steal her.
Three 66-4's, two three inch, one 2 1/2 inch.
The shorter barrel is wearing Uncle Mike's combats, the next to the right, Crimson Trace Laser Grips, the next Spegals.

Great guns.
Longer one is a 39A
Shorter is a 39A Mountie
Both from the early 50s
They can be Fantastic shooters! ! ! ! !
