I am prety sure that none of you have this special pocket pistol.

It is the only Pistol with an consuming expiring date.

The complete pistol is made of chocolate.

An friend gave it to me. He made it from an old chocolate mould from 1930.
It is an model of a FN pistol. The details are quit good.

It is great fun. I gonna eat it now.

willykluda: we have a winner!!!

Now all I gotta do is find the address to ship funds to the Head Gorilla here.

Do you have other data on yours?
The most I've learned on this model, is the 68 gun law stopped import of this model, and there aren't many of them on hand by any cliche of shooters I know. Yours is #3 that I've spotted in about 10 years I've been aware of them.

I have an 1898 Hopkins & Allen Norwich Jr 22cal single shot falling block rifle. For that era its a fine piece of workmanship. I have a few of the J.Stevens falling blocks and a 1906 remington falling block single shot too. I purchased these for the new grandson incase i pass on he'll have the guns to start off with. Bill

It is a factory finish, but even the guys from Beretta said: "Wow, never seen that one.... "

Default H&R 32 'Too' Short

My Grandpa Mason's gun that he took to Montana in 1921. He said it was his back-up to a Stevens 12 ga., his "bear Gun".....I swear that's what he called it. Don't think it would do much good even if he shot the bear in the eye. ( Not bettin', just wanted the repeat the Bear Gub remark....)

@John,
The RG3 is still available in Germany. But not that really old one you own.

Believe it or not: Here in Germany you need a carrying permit to keep these pistols with you. Yes indeed for the key chain.
I have a 2mm pinfire pistol too. We call it Berloque-pistol.

This is one I wasn't very aware of until a couple of years ago. It's a Stevens Visible Loader pump .22 LR rifle. I found the mechanism fascinating. These had a bad reputation for unreliability, but this one works just fine. It dates from around 1920.

Default Colt Lightning 22

Yep, I said 22 long rifle! This is an 1886 vintage Colt Lightning that was rebuilt by gunsmith George Matthews in 1953 to be a personal carry piece. He lined the barrel and cylinder chambers, built a new recoil shield and firing pin, reshaped the grip to resemble a Colt SAA and added Ivory stocks. Once all of the mechanical work was done, he re-casehardened the frame and rust blued the barrel, cylinder and grip frame. The gun is still in very good condition both cosmetically and mechanically. Probably the only 22 Long Rifle Colt Lightning in existance!

Default Anschutz Single-Shot .22LR

Made by Udo Anschutz for the 1928 Olympics. Maybe not so rare; Ralph T. has a pair of them. But I have a case and spare parts!

This is a Mauser solid frame zig-zag revolver in 9mm caliber; a rimmed 9mm with a heel type bullet. It's serial number 4, so they made at least three more, but I beat the bushes some years ago looking for zig-zags, and this is the only 9mm solid frame I've ever found. It's missing the ejector rod.

I have a "top this" to add.

I went to school with Janet Unertl in grades K-6, John's daughter. John Unertl and his family lived near us in a small house.

I guess they started to spend money around 1961, that is when they moved.

I am sure that I actually won this one:

This is a Colt New Police/Police Positive Transitional Model in .22 LR with a 4" bbl. Colt can't find it in their records. The serial number is the only marking on it other than the "verified proof ". So, they guessed that it must have been a prototype or for a variation that was never produced or a "lunch box special" that an employee put together. The serial number fits a sequence of theirs. They found the number before and the one after.....

If any one else has another one, I'll gladly send the $$ to the Forum!

Charles

OK I'll play. Top is a .22 Noris garden rifle brought back from Germany after the war by my uncle. The lower gun is a Geco Model 1919 Karibiner which was my neighbor's grandfather's rifle as a boy.

I don't have any rare guns but my neighbor claims to. He says that he has a S&W Escort that has never failed to feed.

But then he's been known to stretch the truth a little.

I came close. I used to have an Escort that never failed to feed Remington HSHP. Didn't work with the few other types I tried.

I came THIS close to buying a Geco Karabiner (believe it or not, sometimes "Carabiner") 1919 last year. The Norris .22 is something I've not seen for sale, however.

I won't place any bets on it, but this one is quite uncommon. It's a Springfield .69 caliber Model 1816 flintlock musket made in 1826, and it was rifled for use during the Civil War.

Many of you will recognise this as a Mosin Nagant carbine. Some will know that it is a 91/38 as rebuilt in Czechoslovakia. However, this carbine has a very unusual feature that most will not have seen. Sorry, no prizes as there are too many milsurp hounds out there.

A Nickle Like New "Desk Drawer" 38 S&W Webley Mark II made 1894 with a serial below 175. Birds Head grips were very rare, and they are essentially perfect. What may look like blems in the photo are actually cartouches.

Would you like a closer inspection?

his "bear Gun".....I swear that's what he called it. Don't think it would do much good even if he shot the bear in the eye.
Well, you know the old story... you don't shoot the bear, you shoot your buddy in the kneecap...

Dalkowski, I checked my Geco. I spelled it wrong, it's Karabiner. I've never even heard of a Noris rifle before either.

I do have an Albanian SKS but mine is a '78 production, not nearly as old or rare as yours.

Reddogge, you may want to ask the German Gun Collectors' Association about the Noris. It's likely the name of the importer and looks to be made by the same outfit (probably in Zella-Mehlis) as the Geco, but honestly, I don't know.

I see we are still playing. I want to add my Mann Accuracy Device. I got it from the CMP, its a heavy 1:7 Kart barrel in 5.56 on a Remington 700 short action. It is used to test ammo for the Army. Not suppose to have a stock but I put this on it to play with until I can get a cradle built. It has an extremely tight chamber, I have to resize about half my new winchester brass in a small bass die to get it to chamber. Super accurate.

Default I'll see your bet and raise ya $Gozillion

I inherited this piece in 2010 from my stepdad who passed, who in turn, inherited from his dad. The only paperwork on it is the original registration from Sear's and Roebuck from 1965 with his 2 thumbprints. It is in nice condition, with all of the original blue.

The one major issue is the ramp feed is cracked and broke off, which causes it to jamb during case extraction.

The story goes......When dad was a wee boy, his dad took him in a field in the dead of winter to do a little target practice, on a very cold day. He went full auto right off the bat, and the extreme heat buildup was very quick on a cold gun, and that caused the crack.

Yessiree, this one has the "HAPPY" lever.....along with the 2.. 11 round mags.

What I need, is to find a really good gunsmith/machinist, who would be willing to make either the whole barrel assembly, or the little ramp feed, which appears to be a separate piece and slides in the barrel. And who could be discreet about it.

This piece is a family heirloom as well as a collectors item.....Im very proud that Pops entrusted me to have it..

As far as the $10 goes, aaah, you keep it....Its just nice to see someone else out there that has one......
