What Caliber Do You Have Most Of?
I think it is safe to assume (I know, I know) that quite a few folks on here own multiple guns of differing calibers. So, which caliber do you own the most of? For me if you count 357/38spl as one and the same. That would be the one.
The second for me is the 12ga.
I’ll bet for more than one it will be the 22RF. That’s my third.
I dont own a single 9mm
Thanks for playing.

That would be two .38 Specials and one .357 with another .38 Special on deposit.

In my accumulation 1st place would be 22 LR. Second seems to be 38 S&W, which surprised me.

Right now it's a 3 way tie between 9mm, .38/.357, and .45 ACP. However the mighty 12ga. is winning by one! Dale

If you didn't combine Specials and Magnums, .22 L.R. would be #1.

In my stock pile .22Lr. seems to take the lead.1000's of rounds. Only 3 guns.
Other calibers .44Special/Magnum.Followed by 30/30 and then 12ga.
Oh yeah,38 Special times two but who cares they're only S&W's.

You can all see the results, and so far unless I am mistaken it looks like the .357 bore size and the 22LR. It is still a new posting so we will see what the morning crowed adds to the mix.
Thanks to all who responded so far, it looks interesting.

Handguns- .38 Special and .357 Magnum. I can't count right now how many dedicated .38's I have vs. revolvers chambered for .357, it's gotta be a close tie, nearly 20 of each.
2nd place- 9mm Para. I don't have much love for autoloader pistols but my CZ-75's and Glock 17 make good tools.
Rifles- 7.62x54r.......got bit bad by the Mosin bug 10 years ago and ended up with over 40 of various flavors. They seem to hang around while other stuff gets sold, always have a soft spot for the Mosins, I guess.
Runners up- 8mm Mauser, 30-06.

It looks like a tie between 22RF (rifles and pistols) and 38/.357.

It's easy to shoot, cheap to reload and a lot of nice guns were made in that caliber...

Going by cartridge rather than caliber,
.38 Special (many)
.22 Long Rifle (several)
.45 ACP (several).
After that, a few each of .357 Mag, .44 Mag, 9mm, and 12 gauge. The rest are all single specimens.
