Default my Colts are getting smaller

first I had a gov't model(1950) 5"
then a lt wt commander(1976) 4 1/4"
then an officer's ACP(1992) 3 1/2"
and now a Defender 3"

I sure hope they don't make a shorter .45. lee

You need a CCO...... officers model frame w/ a commander length slide/barrel..... still 7+1 with Wilson mags..... even have a 8rounder set up for your extra................

IMHO the best cc option for a 1911.................YMMV

I don't carry it much anymore but still have my first off duty, a 1968 Colt Cobra w/a bobbed hammer.

Colt Autos and Smith Revolvers the way God intended! Have five right now a 1903 beat to hell on the outside shoots like a champ (1924) A 1911/1911A1 Frankengun in the same condition that'll feed feed anything. Three Officers ACPS a stainless, a flat black/blued, and a first year nickel that's on my hip right now in a LOBO (ordered two weeks before he announced retirement....lucky me!).
