Some like Kel-Tec's guns, others hate them so we're likely to get some varied opinions on that alone. Since its introduction, I have been a fan of the 22 magnum (22WMR) round. Its probably a source of controversy among shooters but I enjoy shooting it more than 22lr and there is a tremendous range of ammunition available. With that said, the Kel-Tec PMR-30 is a new 30 round 22WMR shooter that's very light weight and might be a fun shooter for those of us who like the 22WMR. Has anyone shot one? I know that Kel-Tec had some production problems with this gun and don't have any updates on that but I'm sure we'll get some lively commentary. Link below. Thanks

I got to see and handle one at my LGS. It's very light and actually has a very nice trigger. It's the one and only that has come through the shop. Lasted 1/2 day before someone bought it. He is a regular and stated he put several mags through it and it worked fine. So hopefully it will be a winner for KT. As they are right across the State from me, I hope it does well.

Thanks, looks like there is some interest. I did do a search but must have done Kel Tek or messed up the spelling somehow. Thanks again, Ed

I'm a fan of the 22mag too. Call me crazy. I have been looking at the PMR-30 but have decided to hold off buying one. I have a Ruger Single Six with a 9.5" barrel and 22 mags is all I shoot out of it. I'm thinking about mounting a scope on it instead of buying a PMR-30.

It is a neat looking gun with a 30 rd mag.The only drawback is 22 mag ammo is almost as expensive as 9mm which really sucks.
