I want to say it first this year..."GLOCK"!
As many of you know, I'm VERY passionate about my S&W Revolvers. (current count is more than**) I also like a good tool! I make a living with them...
Say hello to one of the reasons the G19 is a main home defense weapon for me. Sorry!
Ok, " I thought I was" prepared for the comments!
Hey, Jimmy likes 'em!!

I didn't know taped together milk jugs were a big problem in your neighborhood...but a beretta 92 or hi-power are a better choice on Clorox bottles.

Mike,
That there is one of the 3 main safeties. The "trigger safety" has to be depressed for the main trigger to be pulled back. S&W actually liked it too! ...and others. My M&P 9C I just got has a version of it too.

Sorry but I can do that with my S&W guns just as well and look better doing it.
Also, just to toss this about, I do not have to worry about a Glock KaBoom ruining my hand either.

I like Glocks but only in the original 9mm chambering. I have a 3rd Gen G17 in my car safe right now. I would like to find a Gen 1 17, and also want a 19 and a 34 (Micro Glock ) and I wouldn't mind having a 17L long slide just for fun.
When I was in Iraq the Iraqi Police used Glock 19's, and when they came into our FOB they had to disarm. When I say these guns were DIRTY I mean filthy, sand was pretty much pouring out of them and they were brown colored. No doubt these guns still would have fired. The sad fact is no other sidearm in that price class could withstand the abuse and neglect........sure we could have bought them HK's, Sigs or whatever else but Glock seems to be able to sell their guns for next to nothing in bulk and still stay in business..........makes me wonder what it really costs to make a Glock........
They are tools only to me, they won't rust, they go bang when I pull the trigger and they aren't finicky about having to be sterile to work properly. The mags are durable and since Glocks are EVERYwhere and will be probably forever they will have warranty support and spare parts available.
Shooters rack up round counts above 100,000 with their Glocks with no issues other than regular recoil spring changes, probably higher than that. You just can't bust 'em.
The reason I only like 9mm Glocks is that I used and carried a Glock 22 for 3 1/2 years as an armed guard at a nuclear plant and I wasn't impressed by them. Just a personal opinion........If I wanted a .40 I would go with something else. So far 9mm and .45 have served my semi auto needs.

No, I love Glocks.
Tie two together with a rope and they make great boat anchors.
Place one on a stack of papers and it becomes a nice paper weight.
Using a Glock as a gun is a good idea if you need to keep a gun outside, on the bottom of a lake for safe keeping. Nobody does that with a S&W. We use our S&W to shoot, show off and they increase in value. Never saw a Glock increase in value.
I own a few of them. Got a lot of magazines for them just sitting on a shelf since the Glocks never get carried or fired any more. I just keep them so newbies can shoot them without hurting a gun. They are so ugly that no one will steal them so they do not get a place in a safe.

With that right there and some standard mags I could sell every other handgun I own and be just fine. You even got the caliber right

You'd need more than 2 for an anchor, but they would still shoot when you hauled them back in.

He doesn't want anyone talking bad about them 'cause he heard G-Lock (that's how they pronounce it in the 'hood) is coming out with a Registered Sig and a Model of 2017, and he's hoping they'll let him sell some on his website.

On the other hand, it would only take one of his S&W 1911's to make a jim dandy boat anchor. Maybe it would shoot when it was reeled in and maybe it wouldn't. Hope it landed on a soft bottom so it wouldn't scratch up that purty finish

When you go to the Lounge section of the Suzuki forums, they're always talking smack about Harleys.
When you go to the Lounge section of the Yamaha forums, they're always talking smack about Harleys.
When you go to the Lounge section of the Kawasaki forums, they're always talking smack about Harleys.
When you go to the Lounge section of the BMW motorcycle forums, they're always talking smack about Harleys.
Seems Glock owners and Harley owners have a lot in common. Just saying.

Have you noticed the older Glocks have non-relived stocks, and the newer ones have relieved stocks?
Honestly, I have a Glock 27 Gen 4 that I carry in the truck. Just like the original said, its a tool. My S&W's, even the beat up ones are just too nice and irreplaceable to carry in the truck full time.

Nope, it would not be scratched and it would work fine. Been under water before in a holster while I was wading waist deep water. Dried it with a baby diaper later. Even the grips dried well. Been shot a lot since then.
If'n we use the S&W, the boat would look better with an American made S&W 1911 laying on the bow.
Not much can make a Glock look worse.

Glad I'm not that shooters neighbor. Did anyone see a BACKSTOP anywhere in that video? I know I didn't and in one segment it looked like there was a parked car in the background of where he was shooting.
