Like others I have a 45-70 lever for biggest bore size, but the Weatherby is my most powerful.

Forget the size question, you have two of my favorite cartridges, in perhaps the best gun for the dollar in the world.... Lucky Guy.

.17 Mk IV and .460 Wby, which I got from my dad when he had had enough of it. I have yet to shoot the big boy, but just perhaps I will get a shot at a Cape, some day. Now if the rule requires the owner to have actually used the gun then I would have to go .375 H&H..... Which leads me to why I have yet to shoot the .460....

I actually don't own a centerfire rifle anymore, I sold my last one this spring when I needed to pay bills and that was my .22 Honet. But the biggest caliber rifle in diameter wise was a .45-70, actually I had two of them at one time. The smallest centerfire was that .22 Hornet.

My smallest centerfire rifle is a CZ 527 Varmint in .17 Remington; next would be a CZ 527 Lux in 22 Hornet. Largest bore centerfire rifle is a Marlin 444 lever action. Thanks for an interesting question!

The rifle collection is a little sparse, but I range between a Mannlicher-Schoenauer Model 1903 in 6.5x54 and an 1889 Trapdoor Springfield in -- no surprise -- .45-70.
One of these days I'd like to get a Model 70 in .458 or a .460 Weatherby. Why? Because the teenager that fell in love with the idea of those guns in the late 1950s is still alive inside me.

I've only got 3 center-fire rifles
a 223 is the smallest and the biggest would be either the 270win or the 9mm hi-point, depending on how you measure. Actually, now that I think of it, the 9mm could be both the smallest and the largest.
My break action 50cal 209 muzzle loader (CVA Wolf) is so close to a center-fire rifle, maybe that should count as the biggest
I'd like to get a big bore lever gun some day.

Smallest .223, largest .45-70. I just realized that every centerfire rifle caliber I have is a military caliber. .223, 30 Carbine, 7.62X39, .308, .30'06, and .45-70. Hmmmm, I wonder what Freud would say about that.
