Well I'm destined for hell once again....bought another Python
I just can't help myself!
Its only a shooter but for $900 I couldnt resist a 6" 1965 Python (serial 454XX).......well not here in Australia anyway. I have seen about half a dozen Pythons come up for sale in Australia in the last year...you grab them when you can
Its a nice partner for my 4" 1963 (serial 249XX) that I picked up last year for about $500.
....now i just need a nickel one, a stainless one, an 8" in .38 Special, a 2 "..and an Anaconda and I might be happy
Mike
(broke in Australia)

Very nice, I would love to find a Python for $900 much less $500, it looks to be in pretty good condition just a little character on the barrel . Great deal.

Good luck on the paperwork. Can you tell us what you have to endure to buy a handgun there?
I've owned a couple of Pythons, and they were very accurate. Not neccessarily better than a S&W, but either .357 will place six shots in a ragged hole at 25 yards, firing offhand. I could do that on good days, so I know the guns will.

Hey T-Star
Yeah Im the same..I have a lot of Smiths and only a couple of Colts..I have to say my 4' 1963 Python is as smooth as butter....the trigger is amazing. My 27-2 is not far behind but the Colt is the winner there.
I am currently writng a post about how its taken me 3 years to get a license here..lol
Ill be posting it when I am certain I have it all right ...I'll let you know when I do
Cheers
Mike

Good luck. It is indeed sad to read about posters from Canada, Australia, England, Norway, etc that re so limited, or restricted, in their BASIC RIGHTS.
