Anybody use a MIC for their Glock?
I'm gonna try carrying my G26 in my back pocket using one of these. You stick the kydex gizmo on the trigger guard. Then you wrap the string around your belt. When you yank the gun outta yo pants the string pulls the gizmo off. It's meant for IWB carry, but I'm gonna put the gun in my back pocket. I'm gonna put a NY1 trigger in the Glock. Pretty cool eh.

You are kidding, yes?? All I can visualize is you getting all tangled up with string
Heck with the NY1, Put a NY2 in it and then it will take both hands to pull the trigger.

Uhhh, let me know how that goes. Won't that make the draw exaggeratedly higher? Anybody use one of these?

GLOCK: Truly not a thing of beauty. It's a recognized functional tool copied by many gun mfgs. like S&W, and so many others. I do not care for polygonal rifling but I think it's fine in 9mm.

Wow, that's interesting. I've wanted to carry my Glock 27 in my waistband, but the whole shooting my nuggies off thing has slowed me down!
So when you pull the gun the gizmo pops off when it hits the end of the string? It actually sounds like it would work pretty well.

If I attached this before and it was deleted by a mod, I'm sorry. I think I forgot to attach it.

I must admit I had never heard of these holsters. I have looked over the videos and am thinking of buying two, one for my Glock 19 and another for my 642.
I don't normally carry IWB with my 642, but I do use an Alessi Talon in my shorts at home (now go to the visual image of just me, my Alessi/642 and shorts. No shirt, no shoes, no nausea please ).
I might drop the 642 in the front of my cargo shorts with a T-shirt over it and give it a try.
The Glock 19, which usually lies hidden as what we call the "Bedroom Gun" might or might not be an okay daily carry with this holster.
Remember, for me, I live in Florida. It's hot-minimal clothes, sweat, etc., so a 642 is pretty much ideal.
But, I think I might just give these holsters a try.

I ordered one for my 26. The attached pics show size comparison between a G26 and J Frame Smith. I know the Glock is a wee bit wider and much heavier. My main concern with the back pocket carry Glock was shooting my butt off.

Don't be silly, for the Glock of course. My butt is a perfect 10. I get a special "pat" on the kiester from the greeter ladies at Wal Mart.

Well, I just bought the one MIC-the one for the J-Frame. The videos make it pretty clear how well the MIC works for a Glock, so that can wait (since I almost never carry it anyway).
But, I am interested in seeing if I can carry and access the 642 as quickly and easily as I can in my pocket.

Maybe they could get Plaxico Burris to do some field testing!

You can save a lot of money by just not keeping one in the tube.I do not think even a Glock will go off then.
Just ask the BG it hold on a moment.

I was deeply hurt (down to my soul) by your comment. I mentioned your attitude at group last evening and everyone agreed with my stand on the matter (except Sally that crazy chick who comes to meetings with her stuffed alligator on a leash). The leash is a bit much. I mean a pink leash, on a green reptile? What ever is she thinking?

Oh, you never know about Glocks. Just carry the slide in one pocket and the frame in the other. Don't take long to put a Glop back together.
Isn't this why pistols should have manual safeties?
