Finished selling all of my guns a few years ago (except for my first nice gun, a Browning SA-22 received for my 16th birthday in 1968.)
Got the hankering for another handgun-something small. Decided it would be a new Smith 63. Few available and the ones that are, are list price. When chatting with my LGS, noticed he had a nice 63-3 four incher in his case, at a very reasonable price. Hundreds less than the new three incher would have been. It came home with me. Now I'm collecting assorted grips for it, and just bought a S&W blue case for it.

I just purchased 2 x 1000 Federal Small Pistol Primers from another member of my Pistol Club. I've only really used the Federal "Champion" Primers before. Hope there isn't much difference.

I’ve been trying to find a copy of this book for a while. Finally lucked into one at a not-too-outrageous price.

Went to the local gun show, which was an utter and complete disappointment. Afterwards, went by one of the LGSs and stumbled on this:
Have zero need for a barrel bedding tool, but I had to have it since my first real paycheck job was working for Gunline tools, and I might have made this very tool 40 odd years ago...
The cost? A princely sum of $5

I just picked up a 1927A1 Thompson semiauto Tommy Gun.
Now I suppose I'll have to jump through the hoops and make it a SBR. :-)

I've got a little arthritus and carpet tunnel showing up these days, and blowback 380's especially are somewhat hard for me to rack. Just not enough to get a good grip on.
Found a Pachmayr Slide Rack Assist (That's the actual name) gizmo on Ebay and it is the cats meow. Gives me plenty of purchase. Works with all the semi's I've got, but the ad said it didn't work with CZ's for reason.

I found a Glock 17M. It looks almost unfired, 3 mags, all the stuff in the case.
It's a model you don't see too often.

At a local yard sale I picked up 2-1 lb metal cans of Hercules Unique powder and a can of Reloader 11 for 35 dollars...still had seals on 'em. At another place I spent 15 dollars for really nice set of S&W K frame diamond type Magna stocks, unfortunately no screw... and an unopened plastic package with a S&W 4 inch cleaning rod and brush. And a friend gave me about 450 SPPs. I gave him a box of 38 sp reloads.
I just checked ...serial on the K frame Magnas is 136325...anyone give me an approx date? They are very nice condition

Just picked up this Ruger No1s in 300 H&H with Leupold Mark 2 3-9 tactical. I am a sucker for the Ruger 1a, 1s and 1h in odd chamberings. The No 1s in 300 H&H go together like cookies and milk.
Prices on these have increased significantly in the past few years. At $1099 with Leupold Mark 2 scope, I couldn’t leave it behind

I've been looking for one of these, a Ruger PC Charger, and had stockpiled a few accessories in anticipation. Got a new in box for $555.00. Listed as used but no indication a round ever passed through it. Waiting on a couple minor items to finish it up but very happy with it so far! I wish they built them in .40SW!

This is a guesstimate, but according to the SCSW Vol 4, circa 1988.

A Ruger Number 1 is one of those rifles I have always wanted to own, but never found one at a price I was willing to pay, or if I did find one, I had no money.

32 Aholic
I have been searching for a K frame 32 M&P for some time now and the ones I had seen were more $ than I could justify spending. Bid on this one some time ago but lost it to a fellow member. LO and behold, it cam up again on GB, and this time I was successful, buying it from said member for a little less than I bid the first time.
M&P 32 (34).jpg
M&P 32 (35).jpg
Then I saw this Taurus advertised, and it looked in the photos like it was K frame size, so I went after it. Thought I was going to get it for a reasonable price, but some non rated bidder (shill?) jumped in at the end and cost me an extra $100. At that point I was stupid and did not want to lose...Anyhow, the gun shows up and it is J frame size, Nice little addition to my 32 addiction, but I paid too soon, as you guys say, Of course being a Taurus, I may have simply paid too much.

Yesterday, traded a Randall knife, Rick Bowles special, for a Ruger no1.
A varmint model in 25-06. Looks to be unfired, with a few dings in the wood. Have had a soft spot for single shot rifles for many years and have a nice herd of Ruger's. Probably going to take wood off and sand out dings and refinish. Is a newer gun and wood is on the boring side.

Snagged another Glock 19 a few weeks ago, like new used at LGS for $499 OTD. The kicker is it has the RTF2 frame, which I like and it’s fairly uncommon in the 19.

Berika FX3 20 gauge. A Turkish Benelli knock-off. Haven't fired it yet, but initial cleaning looked well made. I bought it new off GB on a no reserve auction and total including shipping, transfer, tax and the whole 9 yards came in under $200. This is one of those "I bought the gun because I had the ammo" situations. I "invested" in 20 gauge #8s when my son was shooting Cowboy Action 20 years ago. He moved on to other interests and I sold the SXS he had been using. Over the years people who knew me as a gun guy would give me odd boxes of shells, including 20s, which accumulated in the garage.
I've never owned a gas gun, but decided it was the best way to burn up a couple cases of shells.
My buddy and I started introducing his grandson to clay busting a couple months ago and if the little Turk survives I'll make the kid a great deal on it. If it doesn't I'm not out much.
Range report update: the little beast did not disappoint. I ran a couple boxes of old Remington 7.5 s through it without incident. The last few were heavily corroded around the base but it ate them, too. Even with an 18.5 inch full choked barrel I was getting doubles with some regularity. I see this stoked with #1 buck and hiding under the bed.

Just wrote the BATFE 2 - $200 tax checks to Form 1 / SBR 2 CZ Scorpions. Old school paper, so I figure I won't hear anything back for 4 to 6 months. I've done a bunch of Form 4's for my previous job but these are the first Form 1's. Just hoping I completed them properly.

Your recoil spring may be to heavy. Someone may have installed a heavier spring for hotter ammo.

Ordered some stag from MDGrip for my Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry II
I’m really digging the upgrade.

Hit my favorite Reno fishing hole. Walked away with a clean 2.5” 19-5 and two Leupold 3.5-10 scopes. I don’t currently have a use for them, but at $174 each I’d find a use.

Just in time…
For deer season, just picked up a slightly used Winchester Model 70 in 300 wsm, 24” barrel and added a Leupold 50mm Firedot, even an old mans eyes can see that red dot at dusk.

So the two most recent are a PSA Gen3 AK blem in ODG, and a Holosun 512C for an AR build that just needed something.
I've yet to shoot either. Hoping to change that tomorrow afternoon though.
