Breakfast casserole a la switchblade

I was in the mood for some comfort food.
Taters, sausage, egg, sweet peppers, onion, butter, pepper and Italian seasoning.



But what knife to serve it up...?
How about my newly acquired pre-war Aerial A.C. MFG Co switchblade with stag handles?





If only I had a pistol to display it with.
Maybe I'll dig out this model 15 with bigmtnman stags...



or this model 36 with a bamabiker holster?



Decisions, decisions. Too much to think about on a full stomach.

Is there an established recipe for this, or is it a case of throwing together whatever you had in the house?

I usually start with a recipe and then do my own thing. If you're interested, PM me and I'll send it to you. It's simple and good but not diet food.

Casseroles can contain about anything you want. Just mix stuff together in a baking dish and put it in the oven. One of my wife's specialties. She makes big ones so we can get three or four meals from one.

With three growing boys and a husband to feed on one income in the '70s, my mom used to make the dreaded tuna noodle. Joke was on everybody else. I liked it. Good, home canned tuna did make it a sight better than some.
