Nice! I've not seen a genuine ivory Randall. It goes mighty nice with that old shooter you got there!

That's a stunning gun/knife combo. Who is responsible for the holster and tooling?

The holster is from the fellow named David Duclose who reincarnated the S.D.Myres line a few years ago in Sweetwater, Tejas. Nice quality but he had some production/delivery issues.

Tony,
That's a beautiful Randall, not to mention the beautiful S&W.

Nice pair, nice Ivory.
I have a couple of Randalls I use quite a bit for gutting, skinning and butchering game.
I have been using them for several years.
They really do have excellent blade steel.

Why is that? How long ago? Seems like you should have found one by now.

Ivory handles look great, however, they can dry out and crack or crack from being subjected to major temperature changes. If you don't use an ivory handle (and get your natural oil from your hands on it) I have found that coating the ivory with baby oil (one or two times a year) keeps the ivory moist enough to prevent cracking.

Lawandorder.
That set-up you have is SWEET! I am not good with models of Randall Knives. Which one is that (14 maybe). Love the holster too.
