Kimber high capacity magazines
My brother has a Kimber 1911 with polymer frame and I think a 13 round mag in it. He's had some problems with the mag and would like a couple spare ones for it. The Kimber site doesn't list them and he's not been able to find any at dealers or on his online searches. We've been led to believe Para Ordinance made these frames and their mags may fit.
Anyone know for sure as he doesn't want to order one and find it doesn't fit? I've tried some searches myself and haven't come up with anything for sure either.
Also his gun will close on an empty mag if he pulls back on the slide. Mag problem or should it do that too?
He really likes the gun and would like to have those spare mags for it and knows they're likely pricy too.
Thanks in advance for any help. I just aren't that familiar with that model gun.

I believe that early and maybe all Kimber high cap 1911's were made by Bul (Israel). They now make the Desert Eagle 1911 but it's not a high cap. Not going to be easy to find.

Thanks for that information and I'll pass it on to him. Maybe he can email them and find out if mags are available for it still.
