And just because others have shown S&W's here is one of mine.
This is one of the early model 21-4's that were produced in nickel.

My father carried this pistol and knife in the battle of Okinawa. He bought the knife in a PX in Guam before he shipped out and the pistol he acquired from his Company commander when he took over the Company.

Here's a WWII nostalgia photo - the OSS, as perhaps most of you know, was the Office of Strategic Services, headed by general "Wild Bill" Donovan, and was the forerunner of the CIA.

DRYHEAT: Your stuff looks futuristic. You must be into Star Trek. I am more of a traditionalist -- 1911s, K-frames, Buck knives, Case knives, etc.

I do like 'em all. The old (1947)...
...the even older (1916)...
...the much older (1861)...
...as well as the new.
Also not a fan of Star Trek. lol

Knife: Gerber Frisco Shiv, stainless steel with Zytel handle/sheath, made circa 1985.
Gun: Colt Woodsman Match Target, .22 LR, made circa 1955. (Please excuse the white dust specks in the photo; I sneezed just before I took the photo and blew debris from the table all over the items ).

A real Odd Couple:
A 1941 Luftwaffe 4-Bore (26.7mm) double-barrel flare pistol made by Krieghoff
and a $7 survival knife from Harbor Freight

I have several over on the "Wheelguns and Knives" thread, but here's my modern tactical Tupperware contribution:
Shield 1.0 and Kershaw Speedsafe
