Not sure if you knew. I read about it some time ago and today it popped up in my head again.

The S&W Governor was - to my knowledge - introduced in 2011. Taurus had made their Judge already, but I'm not exactly sure for how long.

Well, a .410 hand cannon wasn't a new invention at all. One has already popped up in the '90s.

It was the THUNDER-FIVE made by MIL Inc. based in Piney Flats, TN.

Nice find. I had no idea.

I know folks have made various whackadoodle Darringer-type guns, some in 410 throughout the years, but hadn't heard of this.

I think I will stick with my Governor. ;)
 
Handguns that fired shotgun loads were used in the Civil War. ;)

Of course you are right. Difference is that these revolvers have a rifled barrel and luckily don't count as a SBS. Unless you live in CA :rolleyes:
