They both look like pin fired guns, probably French or Belgian that's about all I can tell you.

Those are most definitely pin fire guns and most likely Belgian in origin. The good news is ammo cannot be found, so you won't have to worry about the neighbor hurting himself. Most were in the 38 and 44 caliber sizes. Pin fire cases have no rim and the pin is used to keep the case in place. Some guns were converted from percussion systems with a replacement hammer and drilled through and notched cylinder. Nice wall hangers. Ivan

Yeah, I guess so.
However, it was one of the deals that I take all or none.
This was part of the deal.
Unfired, box Colt Peacemaker.

pinfires came in 7mm, 9mm and 11mm. No telling where yours were made, although Belgian or German proofs will identify the country of origin. They were made in considerable quantity. If you have a reproduction 1911 Alfa catalog it may show them.

Xfuzz:

You are one lucky dude! I know you're a Texan, but are you sure you're not Irish with all of your luck?

Regards,

Dave
