Default Gifting firearms

I gave my son this NIB three year old Glock 31 .357 Sig pistol for is twenty-eighth birthday yesterday. He has owned Sig P229 and Glock 33 pistols in this caliber in the past, but currently had nothing in .357 Sig.

I noticed he was carrying the 9mm S&W Shield I gave his wife for Christmas last year when he was unwrapping the Glock.

This Christmas I am giving this S&W 31-2 to my second grandchild, due in July. This fortunate child will be named after me, "Colby" if a boy, "Colbie" if a girl. I am flattered beyond words. Who kows how long we have here on Earth, so I figured to give this one while the decision was still mine to make.

What a great gift for your grand child. Get them started in the shooting sports while they are young. Might want to find a model 63 to start them out with.

Jeff Cooper was not a fan of selling firearms, but very much favored giving one that is special to you to someone that is very important to you. Good show!

Me too! So far I have actually given away more knives than guns.
I did give my SIL a 1911 last Xmas. He wanted a handgun to take up in the woods. His Bro he goes out with is a 1911 type of guy.
So he declined the Glock -40, and the Kahr -9 that I offered him.
So I bought him a Colt.
It'll be a pass down to my Grandson.

Are you taking adoption applications? I'll change my name to Bruce, if you'd like.
