As some of you Colt owners know, trying to find magazines for the Challenger, Targetsman and Huntsman is hard to find and expensive. Being that I have a Challenger, the mag release is on the bottom of the gun and other models depending on what series has the magazine release on the side of the gun. The Beretta Neos magazine is almost an exact replica of the older Colt magazines. All I had to do is grind down part of the base pad and sand down part of the follower, make sure you have a little play between the latch and the magazine. You do not want it tight. The knob on the magazine did not have to be shortened. It had plenty of room in the magwell/grip. Next step is to see how it works when firing it.
I have test fired the gun and the Neos magazine works flawlessly. Put around 7 magazines through it without any issues. For those who have the magazine release on the side, you need to cut a little notch on the side of the magazine.
