As some folks know, Colt (or should I say U.S. Armament) is once again offering the iconic Model M 1903 Pocket Hammerless .32. The base model will have an MSRP of $1,395.00.

With five variations (Types) and a total production of 572,215 over forty-two years the original 1903 was a huge success. I'm certain this pistol is still a favorite even here on the S&W forum. Let's see some original Colt 1903's.

I'll kick it off with a Type II from 1909.

A lady I know--I was married to her for a few years long ago--has a 1903 I would dearly love to have, but she won't sell it. I've wanted one for many years, but damn sure can't afford one of the new ones even if I trusted they'd be as good as the originals.

Yeah, I'm an old fogey. :)

Only picture I have of my 32, it is taking its job seriously, guarding the steak as it marinates.

The 1903 is a great little pistol. It has a colorful history and the 'cool factor' is off the chart. However, the MSRP on this new pistol is an outrage. I would hazard a guess that this would not be the first choice for anyone on this forum (or anywhere else) who is ready surrender 14 pictures of Ben for a new handgun. Not quite sure what Colt is thinking.

Mine is run of the mill but I do have some nice holsters for it. A very popular pistol for many years-I run into a lot of holsters made for them.
Heiser

Heiser Automobile holster- it strapped to the steering column

Another Heiser.

Ok, don't beat me up...this one I bought and it was in the whites, no finish, so I had it cerakoted. I carry it from time to time so I figured this would be a good cheap solution. I love these. Type III.

Just one word. WOW

I have a couple of them.

A 1919 model with some kind of aftermarket fish that looks like smooth Parkerizing. And a later model that is really clean and all original.

Colt 1903 Pocket Pistol .32 ACP

I wish S&W made an MP .32ACP, Here is a pic of my nickel plated 1934 Colt type IV. I'd trade it for a CZ .83 in .32ACP or the Beretta Cheetah .32 ACP.

Here's a picture of mine. It's parkerized and stamped US Property. Got the cardboard box, too. It's so new I've only shot it once, and one magazine is still in its wrapper.

Here is my humble collection of Colt Model M Pocket Pistols in .32 ACP along with a Vest Pocket model in .25 ACP.

I bought this one from a widow who said it had sat in her husband's sock drawer for over 50 years. When I first held it I was amazed, it looked prestine and maybe unfired. Unfortunately, when I turned it over the "down" side finish was ruined and it had some surface rust from sitting in that drawer, unoiled, for so many years. I sent it off and had it bead blasted and then parkerized in a gray/green finish. It is a regular shooter and rides in my boot pretty much anytime I'm on my Harley, it's very reliable and very accurate.
