Default Comm Block/ american rigs

Okay I have two different rifles including mags and load bearing vests or Plate carriers

I have an AR15 Frankengun that I shoot extremely well - I built this gun and love it (still gonna get a Vortex for it) and I have an M9 - basically I have the same set up I did in OEF/OIF and I am comfortable with that rig

But I also have a CAI M74 5.45 and mags and everything and I am wondering what Comm Bloc set up I should go with - Not sure I want to get a PM 9x18mm because of ammo availability

But, I am thinking of a CZ 75 in 9mm - since it was designed for use by a Warsaw Pact country and was likely carried by the Czech forces when I was in Germany waiting to go to war with the Warsaw Pact before the wall came down and USSR broke up

What do you think and any other suggestions?

For authenticity a PM is about as close as you are going to get. The other odd pistols the Russians carry these days like the PSM, Grach or GSh-18 are not available here.

How about the CZ52 or the Tokarev. Ammo is readily available.

I'll second the recommendation for a Tokarev. It feels like a Browning design in the hand and the 7.62x25 round is very effective.

I vote for the PM if you want "the look" to be right, but if you are wanting a set up with the general theme but that ammo price/real world SD situation is more important the CZ75 would be better.

Both are great guns and the 75 is a shooting machine (almost feels like you are cheating. ) but the PM has a certain feel about it that is neat.

Get both!!!

For correct I'd go with the PM. Ammo is not too hard to find but it will most likely be online.

If I was actually carrying I'd go with CZ. While it is bigger and harder to conceal it does use a better and more available caliber and comes with modern features like night sights, button mag release, better capacity .....

I don't think there is anything else you can buy that more modern than the PM or the CZ75. There are other Combloc 9x18 or 7.62x25 but nothing more modern

Great advice in this post, with the recommendation to get both being the best advice.

Post some pictures of both rigs if you can. I'd like to see them.
