A couple oddballs...
Sometimes I am attracted to oddball guns. I have bought a few over the years. Most were later sold with little or no regrets. Fun for a while but eh, no real attachment to them.
A couple have managed to hang around for a while longer.
This CZ52. Built like a tank (just as heavy and just as roughly finished) the ammo is pretty hot, like 1,400 FPS. I bet that small diameter, pointed nose FMJ at that velocity would play hell with a vest.
My wife bought me this around 1990. Pretty reliable with HV ammo. Never imagined that in 2001 I would move to Little Rock just a couple miles from Jacksonville AR where the gun was manufactured.
Guy sold me this at a show for $100 because the action was frozen. Worked fine after I poured some solvent through it and removed the hardened grease. Keyholes with .357" bullets so I just bought some .361" slugs to try in it.
This Spanish made Star Rolling Block in 30-30 is truly tiny. Barely legal length with a 16" barrel. Wouldn't be a bad backpacking rifle given its compact size and low weight combined with a serious rifle caliber. But to me it's just for fun.
Bought this at a police auction in the late 1980s. Needed one crucial part replaced (breech block) and I added the sights, refinished the wood and reblued the metal myself. Total investment including purchase price and parts is $23.
This Hungarian military rifle requires an odd .329" bullet. Cases are available but I have to resize larger bullets to the proper diameter. Lee makes a press to do it. The straight pull bolt is strange to use. I think I paid $79 for it and it was either new or in arsenal refinished condition.

Nice assortment. I particularly like the Star. I am partial to rolling blocks (actually, any single shots) but have never heard of, let alone seen, that one.

Revolver is a 1941 dated Enfield. British service revolver.
red9- From what I gather the Star Rolling Blocks were imported in 1960s before the GCA 68 and were available in 30-30 and 45-70. Don't ask me why those two calibers were made. I bet the 45/70 was brutal on recoil.

CZ52 was my first gun (along with a vz. 50 that came with it). It is indeed a snappy round, a lot of fun to shoot.

Saxon Pig:
As you probably already know, that safety on the CZ 52 also functions as a hammer drop, but in many pistols, including mien, when it drops he hammer, it also fires the round. Very unsafe. Mine may be due to a replaced firing pin.
That Hungarian Model 95 carbine in 8X56 requires a clip to function as a repeater. The clip drops out the bottom of the mgazine when the last round is fired.
