Default Well, they ain't goodyears...

I'm a fan of the Wilson "Starburst" style grips so I had SGM make me a similar set. They'll be going on my latest carry 1911 that I'll be picking up later this year.

The gun is a more modern style so more modern grips to suit seemed like a good idea. I thought about getting a set of fully checkered wood grips, but they get beat up pretty quickly.

The thin grips that are on it are no good to me.

I really like G10 grips on autos. Nice looking pair there!

This will be my first set of G10's. I like the feel and style. They're grippy without being aggressive and don't look too shabby, either.

I'm not a stranger to composite grips, as I've had a set of Carbon Creations grips in the past. They are a bit gaudy looking and don't feel as secure.
