My wife and I are fans of the series Longmire. My wife asked me if I had a pistol like Walt carried, and I told her that I have had full size Colt Government 1911's but didn't like their weight. My wife checked with our friend and gun shop owner who told her about the Colt lightweight Government 1911's and she ordered one for me. I am presently surprised how the reduced weight seems to make this a very comfortable gun. The gun is wearing real Ivory silver Colt medallion grips made by Gunner Products, Kathleen Florida, which just arrived today. To finish it off I bought the special silver hex head screws which spell the word Colt on them.
