Thanks to some Gift Cards to a LGS that I received for Xmas I was able to purchase a gun I've wanted ever since they were introduced

Picked it up Saturday

It is nice.....probably the best DA/SA trigger I've ever felt in a production gun

Still room for improvement but it is a joy to shoot

Very nice!

I was able to handle one just like yours at my LGS. The whole gun was very slick. The trigger was excellent, especially the reset. If I were in the market for a DA/SA pistol, the Legion would be top of the heap. I'd pick it in a 229. The slightly smaller pistol feels a bit better in my hand.

Marketing! It's a worked over 226 so you can't just call it a 226.

Correct! It has a much nicer trigger than standard P226. Grays Guns trigger, The grip is reworked for a more comfortable grip, the grips are beautiful thinner G10s, sights are called X-ray sights - much nicer than the standard Sig Lites

The real selling point is the trigger.....such a smooth DA pull its crazy......ultra short reset as well

The marketing point is you get to join the Legion Club. Get a free padded case and challenge coin. Weeee. [emoji12] and you get to buy Legion exclusive stuff. Again no biggie. The gun itself sells itself

Also different PVC finish in a gray color

226 or Legion by any other name is still great. While working part time in a very large LGS to save up money for a guided elk trip, entirely by accident, I bought lots of guns at employee discount. The 226 was one.

I love my 1911's and my 1966 Colt National Match, BUT my Sig has plenty of spare mags and ammo. It is holstered and is the gun that would bug out with me if I could only take one...... While doing research on Sigs I found a statement, if you are going to hell and back, Sig is the pistol you need. I believe it.
