Finally picked up the back ordered MVP Patrol 7.62x51 on Friday.
For an optic I recycled an elderly Nikon 4-12x scope I had used on a custom built Ruger 77/22 .22 Magnum HB light varmint rifle. Still good glass, a bit out-of-date, but will eventually be changed out for something from this century!
This rifle was bought to be my 7.62x51 bolt gun host for my SilencerCo Omega suppressor. I used the SiCo SPECWAR QD Muzzle Brake. Works well on recoil, loud for shooters on either side w/o can attached.
Looking forward to some range time to see how it shoots with a few different types of ammo, especially some S&B 200gr HPBT subsonic.

Please keep us updated on how it performs. I want to pick up one myself this year, in either scout or patrol configuration. I plan to use it as a general purpose utility rifle.
