Well, I am hankering to get a new pistol - and have narrowed it somewhat to the following choices

Glock G32 Gen 4 in 357 Sig

Sig P320 Carry in 9mm

I have never been a fan of Glock because the grips never fit me - but the Gen 4's seem to have better ergonomics for me now.

My wife has a Sig P320 9mm and she lets me shoot it but I can not have it - so I have to get my own gun if I go with it P320 in FDE - but the trigger is a bit strange to me.

Those that have one or the other - I would appreciate your thoughts

I have a Glock 31 & a Glock 32. The .357 Sig is a great cartridge!! I like them both!

I'm not sure that the Sig P320 would be my first choice for a 9mm in the Sig line. Maybe a P226 or P228....

I too like the .357 Sig cartridge and own Glock 31 & 32 pistols. I gave my son a Glock 31 as well. Our pistols are gen. 3 guns, but I like the way the gen. 4 feels in my hand. I have only handled and dry fired the Sig P320 in my LGS, but liked it. I just can't afford to buy one now, as I am chasing a Sig P239 .357 Sig at the moment.

Here is my Glock 31, the day it was released to me after sitting in a police evidence room for four years.

The primary advantage of the 320, is the modularity. You can swap grips and calibers on a daily basis if so inclined, or find the perfect set up for yourself. I have the .45acp p250, and love it. As a revolver shooter that long double action trigger is perfect for me.

If I wanted a striker fired polimer gun, I would go with the 320 over the glock. A plus for you would be holster and magazine compatibility with your wife's gun.

If you are hunting for a .357 Sig p239 I saw several on sigforum.com recently. And I know kitterytradingpost.com has a couple of used ones. I love my 239 in .357 and I also have a gen 3 g31 and a gen 4 g32. The 239 is incredibly accurate and carries very well due to its flat, slim profile. Good luck in your quest.

The p320 carry in 9mm is my edc. I'll admit I'm a trigger snob, and I don't think I could ever buy a Glock again. I haven't had any problems with mine. It shoots and carries perfectly.

I have both. I like them both. I'm not sure which I prefer. Currently, the 320 in 9mm gets more love and the 32 sits in the safe. I dropped the Apex flat trigger in my 320 and really like it. That said, the 32 feels slightly more compact and went with me on my last out of town trip. Who knows...I say get both if you can. The 320 positive is the ability to swap Lego parts - upsize, downsize, swap calibers...

The other difference right now is the magazine availability. There seems to be plenty of 32 mags available. 320 mags are hard to find.

I have had a Glock 32 for 13 years. It has been supremely reliable and is my LEOSA qualification gun. I've personalized it very lightly, as it suited me very well from the jump. Mine is a Gen3; it works well in my moderately large hands. I feel that the .357 Sig is the finest self-defense cartridge available for semi-autos. I have extensive experience with Sig SA/DA guns (220, 229), but have only read about the 320. The Sigs that I carried were superb sidearms. If the 320 is as thoughtfully made, it will be a great purchase.

I'm too heavily invested in Glocks to switch. Not that I want or need to. Glock fits me fine the way it is but with the 320 I'd have to BUY and play with different grips to see what I like best. I hate doing that. So I'm sticking with Glocks. But if you don't have either one then get whichever you like, can't go wrong with either. ....or both
