My most recent was ordered last year and delivered recently. It's from Chambers Custom and we called it the 'Retired Ladies Gun'. It's a 9mm with a second barrel and everything required to convert it to 38 Super or 38 Super Comp.

I've probably posted this pic before, but I maybe shouldn't now. I've sold a couple of them off since it was taken, my wife wanted a new kitchen for a long time and I needed funds to pay for it as I owed her one for when I bought my old Chevy. Plus, they aren't ALL 1911's.

My three Sig's. Top is a Compact Nitron with all steel frame. Second is Army C3 model and bottom is Sig Ultra Compact in 9mm with a traditional slide. The Army C3 is my EDC.

It shoots pretty well, not a nail driver at any rate but for me it's o.k. with about a 3 - 4 inch group off and at 15 yards. With Parkenson's I no longer shoot as well as I use to but I'm still having fun.
For $300 it's a good project gun. There are a lot of upgrades available and it is about 80% compatible with 1911 parts.

Impulse buy, but I love Dan Wesson's so I'm not worried. May use it as trade fodder towards a valor or specialist (miss the one I had) but for now quite happy.

My family of 1911’s! 3 on the left are APW’s, two of the colts have SW revolver rear sights, the black one is a sw light weight commander, all are 45’s.
