Shot my new Sig P238
After getting my new Sig back the end of January I finally got the chance to shoot it after it seemed like something came up every time I had planed to before ..
I was over all very pleased with it !!
My new P238 HD shot as expected with out any faults .. I put 150 rounds of Winchester Defend thru it !! Had no failures and the only fault was I didn't have another 150 rounds to shoot ..
Recoil on this little .380 is very mild and it's a pleasure to shoot !!
I experimented shooting from the hip or mid draw between the 6 and 7 round magazines .. I found I shot the 7 round magazine where I can put my little finger on the magazine much better then the 6 round which you can't !!
The rest were shot empting the mag rather quickly semi aiming but not taking any time .. the 7 round mag also worked better there also .. All rounds were shot between 5 and 7 yards ..
Next time out I will shoot for accuracy and see how it performs shooting slower .. Still I kept everything in a 18 inch circle .. the fliers from shooting from the hip .. I like the natural aiming I get from the Sig P238 ..
Ordered 2 more 7 round mags today .. the 6 round magazine will be delegated to the range only .. I will carry 2 spare 7 rd mags and 7+1 in the pistol when I carry it when my 40c is too large ..

Congrats on the 238. I have a friend who has a 238, carries it religiously and dearly loves that little gun.

At the range this past weekend a fellow let me shoot his 938. I probably shouldn't have done that...
