Walther PPS 9mm Classic
This is not an anti-Shield video. I owned a 40 Shield two years ago and carried it everywhere nearly every day. It was a very nice pistol. I sold it to fund a nice 1911, which I still have.
I have missed the Shield since I sold it, primarily due to how comfortable it was to wear and how easily it concealed. I didn't really want another Shield, so I picked up this PPS last week at a decent price.....$449.00.
I do several videos throughout the warmer months, so I plan on doing a review of this one in a month or so. I don't do tabletop reviews, just range and shooting reviews.

I like mine a lot. Spare mags are hard to carry. Easier to carry a 1911 mag than a PPS mag. I end up using the the 6 round as a reload.

The shorter mag fits decently in the small front "change" pocket of my jeans. Not a snug fit by any means, but the whole length of the metal body fits in.

Yep, mine fits the same way. Thin, accurate, dependable. Just be careful ramming that mag home! If you the get the fatty part of your palm in the way, there will be blood.

I traded my Shield 9mm to a friend for a Model 60-0 Chiefs Special. Happy about the trade because it let us both get something that we wanted without either spending any money.
BUT...I will be replacing it as soon as the money is available because in my opinion it is the "perfect" carry gun.

Does it drop a bullet into your pocket? My PPS mags are the only magazines that I have had this problem with. Probably a bad idea to carry a loose mag in a pocket anyway, for lint if nothing else.

My spare PPS mag doesn't drop one, but it allows the top round to creep out just a bit, and that will cause a FTF if it isn't pushed all the way back before inserting. The only other mag that does that is my Kimber Solo Carry 9.

I've always carried a spare mag in a pocket, and have never had a round pop out. As far as lint, the pistol gets just as "linty", inspections and cleaning apply to both pistol and mags.
