Polish Radom 9X19
I recently acquired a polish Radom that only has P52 stamped on the side. No other markings I can find. From my readings it seems this gun is one assembled from stolen parts that the polish workers assembled for them selves or for the resistance.
The slide does not show any indication of being filed or sanded to remove any markings. I will get a picture up once I get the chance.

I, for one, would love to see closeup detailed photos of both sides of this gun. Sounds like a real collectible, and may in fact be just what you think it is.

Do I understand that there is no serial number? And is that a problem?

If it was made before 1968 and left the factory with no serial number, that's no problem.

John: Could this also be a "grade IV" ? I believe the very late war issues with the rough finish and plastic or wood grips had no markings due to the Nazis getting them out the door ASAP ??

I agree that we need some pictures to solve this mystery.

I would have to trust the Teutonic obsession with marking everything thoroughly; not likely that habit would be broken even in the late stages of the war. Some rough dating can be done by the presence or lack of presence of the takedown lever. If it's present, that would give more credence to a "lunchbox special," put together from parts before the Nazis cracked down on the practice by executing Radom employees. If the takedown lever is missing, it's more likely a "last ditch" put-together pistol.
