Anybody got an idea when Colt OMM, S/N 931305 might have been made?

I can't make heads nor tails out Proofhouse.

I think you have one too many digits. Check your serial# again. Should be 5 digit serial# instead of your posted 6?

edit to ad- Another possibility is you have a Trooper frame with a OMM barrel. Troopers were into the 6 digit serial#'s. If so, your's is from 1962ish.

Ummmm. That's what's on the layaway receipt. I'll have to ask them to fetch it out of the back so I can check it.

Mine is #902417. As I understand it, was made about the time of the introduction of the last variation...~1951-1952. I believe they were made until about 1969. I've seen #917xxx advertised as '67, making yours very late.

The OMM serials ran concurrent with the Colt Trooper. Your gun was made in 1962.

I have a Colt OMM SN 9115xx from 1956 (complete with the full-checkered target stocks). According to Proofhouse, OMM SN 931305 should be 1962.
