These went out to wholesalers on Tuesday, I bought one last night. I have a Ruger Mark I, but this new model has a 1 button take-down.
I bought the Mark IV Hunter in Stainless with a 6.88 inch fluted barrel.
Ruger's web site lists these at MSRP of $767. Mine will arrive next week and I paid much less than MSRP.
Looking forward to giving it a try.

Good luck to you sir & let's hope she shoots as nice as she looks. That 1 button takedown should be a help...

my old 200 year of Liberty .22 bull barrel is easy to take down & reassemble... unless you only do it every 10 years or so when one of the kids/grandkids decides to shoot her... then I've got to scratch my head & remember to turn it upside down & tilt it the right way, when I reassemble her...Golly I'm glad the internet is here now... & instructions are easily found.

I'm thinking I need to finally take the plunge and get a Ruger other than the SR22. The Mark IV may be just the thing. I transferred a 22/45 to a client today, the second one now. I really like the looks of that gun, but the Mark IV is really tickling me. (I don't really need another .22 handgun).
What? Need? I'm not familiar with this "need" of which you speak.

Among others I've owned a MK 11 for a long-long time...Its been perfect..Never let me down...Never had a problem with assembly/disassembly.....Saying that I like the new MK IV that unbreaches like a single bbl shotgun.....Will add one along the way.....Do not in any way want one of those butt ugly Victory .22's.
