After looking at another thread about Spyderco knives, I got to wondering. Some years ago I was buying knives including Benchmade and Spyderco. This one was in old leftover inventory. Not really like the others I bought. I know nothing about Spyderco knives. Is it older? Is it out of production? Does it have any collector value? It's always been kind of the odd one in my collection.
Your knife is a reissue of the original Spyderco standard/economy model. It dates from 1998 and has an ATS-55 blade with G-10 scales. Retail price was $114.95. I'm sure it's collectible to someone due to its condition and low production numbers (it wasn't a great seller).
