Default S.A.M Elite

Went looking for an inexpensive 1911 to learn more about the platform and to customize for fun. Ran across this S.A.M. Elite at a LGS. Listed at $325, I offered $300 and it was accepted (consignment gun). Gun is used and not abused, does need a new slide stop. Came with the original 8 round mag and a Colt 7 rounder. Took it to the range today for a quick shakedown (it was 18 degrees out) and function check. Ran perfect for the 50 rounds I shot, slide would lock back with the original mag, but not the colt or a Chip Mccormick that I had. New slide lock should fix. I ordered a Wolff spring pack for the gun too.
