Never needed an excuse and ain't starting now !!
While I have numerous S&W revolvers and semis my interests have lately taken a detour.
For no particular reason I seem to have fallen in love with the 380ACP. It isn't necessarily the caliber but more the variety of firearms that come in that caliber.
My first one was a Colt Govt MKIV model.I then came across a Russian Makarov which I really like for it's quality workmanship and simplicity.
Yesterday I came across an Interarms Walther PPK/S and quickly snatched it up.Ain't nothing really special about it.I think it was made around early 1994.It's just a really nice looking firearm.
All three are easily concealable and while not considered the best defensive round they should get the job done while just being fun to shoot.
I'm not the best photographer but here they are from left to right...Walther PPK/S...Colt Govt MKIV...Makarov

That Walther looks to be stainless, if so it is made in the US. The German/West German made guns are usually even smoother and more accurate. I have owned 32's and 380's from Early WWII models to late 80's models, any US made model was a disappointment after that.
The original Baby Government Model 380's by Colt evolved into Mustang and Mustang II then faded away. The resurgence has proven very good for all involved!
Never had a Com-block 380. The 9x18 models were extremely reliable!

I kind of fell into 380 while trying to find a ccw piece for my wife.....not I have 1 DAO Colt Pony models and an Interarms PPK. And I'd like to find a reasonable priced 1908 Colt to go along with the 1903 that my Uncle left me.

I am a fan of the .380 as well. I have no use for 9mm, but have a number of .380 pistols, at least 5 of them.

My .380 Colt Gov't is a sweet little pistol. It doesn't get out much, though.
The .380 Kel-Tec is an indispensable tool for me, as well.
Somehow, though, the round itself doesn't do anything for me. As they keep making smaller and smaller 9mms, it's hard for me not to imagine the .380s finest days are behind it.

Agree! I have a Beretta Model 84 and an Interarms Walther PPK/S. They may lack the effectiveness of my .45s and .357s, but in terms of 'cool factor' they are off the chart!
