Kershaw
I was window shopping at hardware store today. I know alot here say they carry the Kershaw Blurr. No doubt its a good looking and quality knife. But this is first time I ever put hands on one. For me its a no go because it of the weight manily due to I like the weight of my Sog flash 2.or Trident. The Blurr being a metal case is heaver. I showed the clerk the differance in weight of blurr vs my Sog that I had with me. He said wow yes a big differance. He happens to be carrying a Kershaw leek . I could go with one of those to add to my collection.Plus I dont care for for the lock set up on the Blurr .That set up reminds of the cheap Gun show knives. I do want to add a Kershaw to my line up but going to be pickey. For me here last few years I have been tending to be going a lil lighter on the E D C .Rear pocket lock blades.

I bought a Leek with the intention of carrying it, but so far I've continued to carry the Scallion. They are similar designs, but the Scallion is slightly larger, and I like its blade design better.

My wife and I both carry Kershaw Leek knives every single day. Mine, shown with my S&W 642 PC, is over six years old. I also have a half serrated version with the black blade which is five years old.
I removed the pocket clip so the knife rides hidden in my dress pants pocket. the hump on the blade back allows you to orient the knife by feel, pull it out and have it open fast. Holds an edge and is extremely easy to sharpen.
The wife and I also several other Kershaw knives, including the Black Blur, the Scallion and their inexpensive knife/screwdriver tool.

This Leek has been my daily carry for 11 years now, and I won't be without it. Holds an edge a long time and takes an edge you can shave with. The picture is a few years old, it has a few more marks and wear now, but the black finish is holding up great.
