Savage Model 7
Stevens Model 87
Izhmash 7-2
Ruger 10/22
Remington 513T
Winchester 52D
Remington USMC 40X
British No.2 MK IV*
Sig Saur P220
Browning Medalist
Browning Buckmark
S&W Model 17
Colt .22 Conversion Unit
Glenfield Model 60 X2
I think that is all for now.
Does a .22 Short count? If so I have a Walther OSP to add to the list...
Another that I forgot is an H&R Model 65 USMC Trainer.
Getting old sucks........maybe I need Prevagen!
And another popped up a Tula TOZ-17-01
I am going to have to increase the Prevagen!!!

I've got a number of .22 pistols, revolvers, and rifles. All of them are accurate, fun, and cheap to shoot.
Been thinking of adding one of the Kel Tec P17's and a Rossi RS22 to the stable.

I’m a Senior Citizen and I only need a 22 rifle and a 22 pistol for plinking.
You need a Gun Safe and a way to manage your firearms. Another Senior friend asked me look at his recently deceased father’s gun collection. Mostly 22 rifles and shotguns and they all were all in an unused bedroom closet. After thirty plus years of no maintenance they were all junk.

While I can't speak personally about the RS22 exactly, I do have a Rossi RBM .22 WMR. I picked the gun up just before I retired, for 2 reasons: first, it was pretty cheap with my employee discount, and second, I had recently discovered a cache of 600+ rounds of ammo in my possession, including about 100 rounds of CCI birdshot, with no gun to shoot it.
So, topping the gun with a Vortex 2-7x32 RF scope I had lying around, I set up some targets and found that the gun shoots......just, meh. Trying a few different loads, they all seemed to average right around 3" at 50 yards. Okay for a cheap rifle, I suppose, but not good enough for the kind of work I'd normally give to a .22 Mag. And definitely not good enough for me to give my recommendation to any current production Rossi rimfire. FWIW, anyway.

I have 13 handguns and 12 rifles (first time I’ve counted in a while – I didn’t realize there were so many!). Is that enough? Probably so, at least until I stumble across the next one I have to have.

I've given up on trying to stop buying any more .22's!
I used to say I'm not buying another .22, and soon after something just too neat to pass up came to my attention, and I had to break my rule. This pattern continues, until I finally just stopped saying "no more .22's!"
Now I still don't look for them, but when I see a neat one I don't feel bad about breaking my own word.

I have friend that has over 60 .22LR match rifles. I created a monster, quite a while back. I taught him what Winchester 52's, Remington 37's & 40X were and he has been buying ever since. He has just about every manufacturer of target grade .22 LR's that have been made in the last 100 years. Has over 30 Winchester 52's of various models!

I feel right at home with this thread
I use to shoot a lot of big bore pistol, and still do at times, but not nearly as much as the 22's in recent years. It's just plain fun, and challenging and inexpensive relatively speaking.
I probably have 15+ handguns and 8-10 rifles, never counted them.
I love the old steel US made 22 pistols, no matter what flavor they are
I will most likely buy another one today.... if the price is right

Being just another 22 shooter, I only own eleven 22 rimfires. Seeing the amount that some on here own, you all have shamed me into going to a gun auction a couple towns east of here tomorrow to but more and try to make up for my measly 11.

Not the focus of my accumulation, but I seem to have picked up a few 22s over the years. Missing a few, but close enough. Except for the Smith 22S and Ruger 10.22, Mostly "targets of opportunity" I do not believe that I left the house intending to buy any on them.

I think our love of .22s probably goes back to when we were kids and learned to shoot with them.
Have a few but always on the lookout for more.
Model 63 (1980)
Ruger SR22
Rifles
Marlin Model 60
Marlin Golden Model 39A (1956)
Remington 572 pump (1972)
M&P 15-22
One or more always goes to the range during range day. Like the vintage rifles with the tubular magazines.

I have more .22 pistols than any other caliber and more .22 rifles than any other caliber. Cheap to shoot and no reloading. Unless something really, really, really bad happens I have enough .22 shells to last for a while. Life is good! Larry

The short answer is when you can no longer responsibly store what you have. Then the responsible thing to do is get more space for secure storage

If you see my username, you understand what I like shooting.
Several years ago I bought several cases of .22 ammo for our club members at $90.00 a case (5,000 rd/case) delivered. When the ammo came in, they decided they didn't want any, so I thought I had been shafted . Now they want to buy some .22 ammo from me, and I'm not selling.

I’m not sure exactly what it means but if you have to stop and count up to know how many you have maybe it means you have enough. I don’t have a huge number and I’m not going to count.

I just checked the list of High Standard .22 target pistols I put together. Just 11. Just couldn't resist when I would run across them. A lot of varieties of model, barrel length, place of manufacture and customization.
One day I was at home and heard a crash come from the basement. So I went down to the basement and checked the cabinets and found out that in the composite cabinet where I keep my .22 rimfire shells one of the shelves broke in two after a number of years. Luckily, none of the cartons broke open. I got curious as to how many shells were on that shelf to cause it to break after numerous years. It turned out on just that one shelf in the dedicated cabinet I had placed 9600 rounds of .22 long rifle shells! I replaced the composite cabinet with a steel cabinet from Sam's Club.

We Need More Pictures!
Kinda surprising how few photos we have on this thread. Seriously, this forum LOVES pictures, we can do better!
I'll start with one, my Ladysmith 3rd Model, along with the letter.

6 1/2 year old thread but I'll take a stab at a number - 484. Bonus point if someone figures out why.

A partial view of my friend's vault. The lesser 22's are kept in 50 gun safes on the floor outside this vault. These are Winchester 52's, Remington 37's & 40X's, Anschutz's. Walther's and etc that he has come across.

Back in '65, when I went off to college at Nebraska, I bought my first .22, a very low serial #1022, with of course the really nice walnut original stock. Had a trigger job done decades ago, and back when new put one of those scrawny small primitive rimfire scopes on it. Shot it a lot over the years.
Now that I am taking my 9 year old grandson shooting weekly, here in mid SC, I got a youth stock for it, so he can shoulder and shoot it properly. About a decade ago, I put a low mount "dot" on it, inexpensive, but works great and close to the bore. He greatly enjoys shooting it.
A few years ago, his dad bought for his two sons a Mannlicher version, not yet shot. About 30 years ago, I bought a new Mirakou Japanese remake of the 52, put on a 4X, and it is not only a gorgeous rifle, it is superbly accurate with CCI MIni Mags at 100 yards. The stock is a little long for him, so he hasn't shot my 52 yet.
I want my 9 and 6 year old grandsons to learn to shoot the various options of .22's, so he also shoots my S&W .22 "AR" with a dot. Then several months ago, wanted him to learn lever rifles, so added a youth stock Henry, and he greatly enjoys operating the action on that rifle. Never a single malfunction.
So recently bought a CZ 457, again the youth stock bolt rifle, and put a Leupold 4X rimfire scope on that, and now he shoots all four variations of .22 rifles. And is a very accurate shooter. I buy bulk 40 grain ammo for him, and we usually shoot several hundred at a time, at pop cans and clay pidgeons at our range.
No revolvers yet. It is just great to have him say something like "...OK Gramps, see the pop can on the far right, watch me flip it up and over the berm." Teaching a youth shooter how to shoot is a great experience, partly because they have no bad habits to unlearn, esp regarding safety. I would post a picture or two, but I just don't think his mom wants that out there.
Soon we will move up to rifles like my '44 Inland carbine, and some of my 223/556 rifles. I love this life. SF VET

If I had to have just one .22LR rifle, the decision is a no-brainer. This Marlin 39A, mounted with a Burris Compact 6x scope, is the best shooting RF I've ever owned.

Two pistols and one rifle . One of the pistols is a Single Action Colt and it needs to go . I just can't shoot a SA revolver worth a damn so it needs to go .
I don't keep guns that I don't shoot .
