Very nice.

I love Beretta, and the PX4 compact I have is top notch for a plastic semi.

Must be the Italian in me!

On my bedside table is the Detective Special. The Beretta hides downstairs.

Looks good.

The Cougar is a sleeper. Excellent firearm that only seems to be appreciated by those of us that own one.

The Cougar was a sleeper and it’s a shame it came out at the wrong time.
To much black plastic was coming out at the time and was the reason why Beretta flushed it so I understand. Beretta got on the bandwagon with the PX4 and the Couger went to Stoeger.
I have both the 8040 and the 8045 Cat Pack and I’d never sell either one.

I use the same.e gun for 99.9% of everything.

G19 carry. At night it's on the night stand. About the only time I don't use it is when I have to dress up and go to something fancy. In which case is a G43 in an ankle holster. Or a 642 in a pocket when walking my dog

My EDC 642 is on my nightstand, in a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster to keep me from inadvertently putting my finger on the trigger guard if I have to grab it in the middle of the night. A little downward pressure while drawing and the gun comes out easily. In the event I don't get it right and I pick up the gun with the holster still on it a quick shake is all that's needed to throw the holster off (both moves I've practiced, btw).

I also have my Beretta 92FS close by.

I like my 642 on the nightstand for a couple of reasons. Mostly because it's the gun I'm most familiar with, but also, being a revolver, when laid on its side the cylinder creates a gap between the nightstand and the grip frame. This makes it a little easier to get my thumb in position to pick it up in a proper grip than a semi-auto that lays completely flat.

Been a Beretta fan since before the 3rd Gen Smiths were introduced.......my favorites are the Compacts and Centurions for carry...... the Elite II for "Range & Games"!!!!!!

Folks like Wilson Combat, Allegheny Arms & Gun Works and Ernest Langdon are still coming out with ''improved versions" and great parts.

Those grips look great.
Where did you get them?
I have a PX4 Storm Type C .45ACP coming in, ordered from Classic Firearms. $370.00 shipped. NOS.

EDIT
Well I feel like I need to go get Lasik done on my eyes.
Or a better computer.
I thought it was a PX4 Storm in the OP's pic.
Sure looks like one to me.
Sorry for the drift.

Default Beretta Grips

Howdy,

A lot of times, the Beretta e store has Presentation or other grips on Sale.

They also have Gold plated hammers, triggers and grip screws on Sale.

Just have to get on their mailing list.

Nice!! I love Berettas and I still keep thinking about getting a Cougar from Stoeger. We shall see.

I literally keep this gun under my pillow:

Wheelguns are always my first choice, especially for home defense. We each have our preferences, but I could use my Beretta 92 and not complain.

They’re Hogue grips and I got them off of eBay $47.00
They have them with the Couger emblem on them but double the price.

Good luck with your new piece!

My nightstand gun will vary. Right now it is a 696 no dash, but I sometimes have my Beretta APX 9mm out.

I'm on my third 8045 from Stoeger. I take friends shooting and they literally demand to buy the gun out of my hands. It is the only .45ACP that I can shoot full tilt ammo in, I'm too old for my 1911's and hard ball rounds.

I went to the shooting range with my (superior, I think) Italian-made Beretta 9mm one day, not long ago. My mom said, "how about a little Italian for supper tonight?" I said, "I just had a little Italian at the shooting range. How about Mexican or Chinese instead?" True and funny story! Heh, heh, heh.

Maybe she wanted to invite Mario the midget to dinner since it was his last day in America visiting his family here.

In a lockable drawer, which is open at night, are first to grab a Colt Agent, next to it is a Glock 17. A very bright flashlight and spotlight are within reach also.

586 and 5946. Plus a Mossberg 590. If that's not enough, I can grab the SR9. Also have edged weapons close at hand.
So, don't break in my house and try to murder me.
I take such things rather personally.

I used to have different CC and HD handguns until I got a PCR last year. Now, that compact CZ never rests, always rotating from holster to night table, or slipped into a back pocket to answer a knock at the door.
