That it has. The .38 Super Colt and its cartridges, at least for me, just seem to connect with the 1930s-40s era more so than any other caliber. I remember reading something about the OSS getting quite a few of them. And they all had the Swartz safety. In fact I believe ONLY the Colt .38 Supers had it in the pre-WWII period.
