Anyone here ever had any experience with one of these handguns? They have some sort of triple action. Good or bad?

A while back, '05 maybe, I was in a class where two of the guys had brand new Daewoo's. These guys were budget minded, admitting they chose the Daewoo's b/c they were inexpensive. By the end of the first day they didn't have the Daewoo's anymore. One wouldn't fire at all, that guy came back from lunch with a Glock. The other had multiple double feeds, that guy bought a M&P on the way home. Neither one had actually tried shooting the Daewoo's before the class.

Daewoo builds everything from pistols to TV's to cars to fighter planes to super tankers. I've read good and bad reviews of their firearms, but never actually spoke to someone who had a good experience with them. I understand they make a pretty good super tanker, so they're not all bad.

Thanks this is kinda what I expected to hear. Just wanted to hear from those that know better than me.

And yet, the DP-51 "I" had shot very well, was as reliable and accurate as my 5906 and would use the same magazines.
I do like the tri-action feature...took a little getting used to but after that, I would trust mine completely.
