I owned one when they first came out and enjoyed shooting it. However then the only moon clips to be had were Ruger and at the time they were very overpriced.
I sold it for that reason. I don't know if there are moon clips to be had now from other venders but I would hope so. Ruger seems to be very proud of theirs. I know that the time I could buy 12 clips for my 45 acp night guard for what Ruger wanted for 3

There are other sources for moon clips now, and they are a lot cheaper, but not as low priced as 45 ACP.

I have an LCR 9mm, and the recoil was more than I expected. More than my LC9 which weighs the same -- probably some is dissipated in moving the slide.

Less recoil than the 357 Magnum LCR (which I also have).

Had a problem with the extractor when I first bought it and had to send it to Ruger for repair before shooting it.

But the customer support was excellent, and they replaced the extractor parts and sent it back in something like 10 days round trip.

There is an excellent review done by "Pocket Guns and Gear" out on the web. Worth reading. It included chrono data for various ammo compared to a couple pocket semi-autos.
