Thanks, I appreciate that. The place that did the work I can't recommend for various reasons but lets just say I was very glad to get the gun back... The grips were from Sig if memory serves me correct.

I have to agree Jack, that SR1911 seems to just melt in my hand. Shoots pretty good too. Just picked up a Springfield XD mod.2 tacticle 5 inch barrel, it feels pretty good too.

My full size M&P 9mm "just feels right" and is fun to shoot. I have gotten comfortable with the Shield Performance Center 9mm with the extended magazine as my every day carry.

For semi autos, it’s the CZ75 full size and Compact D. The palm swells fit me to a T. The stock 1911A1 and Sig P6 are next in line. For revolvers it’s the GP100 with the origibal style grip followed by a K/L frame square but with Uncle Mikes/Butler Creek grips.

No contest, the Browning Hi Power is without a doubt the most comfortable and naturally fitting gun in the world. Discussion over. Close the thread.

The two that feel the best in my hand are the large frame EAA Witness (CZ 75 SP01 Shadow with "Lava grips" equally well) and my Rock Island 2011 double stack with G10 stocks.

That was my second choice, but a ppk/s though, a little more grip to grab on to.

My favorite guns for fit are the Kahr T-9, Browning HP and the S&W Model 39 or 39-2

All you Taurus haters get ready to go, "Ewww!!!"
The gun that fits my hand better than any other gun I ever picked up is a Taurus PT-145 (altogether now - Ewww!!!).
I was intending to buy a Glock when I bought that pistol but I could not find any Glock that fit my hand well. When a LGS owner told me to pick up the Taurus I humored him and wow was I surprised. It was perfect for my hand.
In fact that pistol has been perfect in pretty much every way. It's never had a failure, it recoils like a dream so that I can do double taps right on the same spot, and it's crazy accurate. I don't expect it will last as long as my Sig P220 or my 629 or other handguns I own either. But it is perfection in a handgun IMO - except for that whole thing about firing with the safety on if you drop it. Yikes! Actually it doesn't happen with every model and I've dropped mine a couple of times (fell out of my IWB holster when I sat down actually) and no surprises happened. I keep next to where I sleep now. It has a great little laser on it and I fully expect it to go bang when I might have to pull the trigger. The Sig remains in my safe and I keep a Springfield XDm in the truck. I carry a Ruger usually for CCW.. But I love that Taurus. I carried it for years actually.

Colt 1860 in .36 cal. Feels good, points where you want it. Good enough for Bill Hickok, it's probably good enough for me. And as it was given to me, the price was right.

An n frame with coke bottle grips, or
k or n frames with Kim ahrends finger groove sq butt grips.
Model 39, and Sig pseries with the E-2 grips. Model 41s aren’t too shabby feeling either.
