Which gun, optic, and/or ammo are waiting anxiously to shoot
I am itching to find out if this well used post-ban Bushmaster XM15-E2S will shoot groups 2" or under at 100 yards with a modern optic and 52 gr. match quality ammo:
is there a rig you have set up but still don't know how it will shoot?

I acquired 4 suppressors last week. I have used the rimfire, pistol Suppressor and my integral Suppressed Mark IV.
Today I found some subsonic Ammunition in the garage.
I was quite pleased.

I am waiting to see if my Remington 660 in 350 Remington Mag will shoot.
I topped it off with a old Redfield wideview and detachable mounts. I have rounded up almost 70 rounds of factory brass including 7 loaded rounds. But I also picked up 300 7mm mag cases cheap. I have found 2 sets of dies and am going to modify one to a trim die to cut down the 7mm brass after sizing it to 350mag. Besides an interesting rifle I can have fun with cast lead bullet in it.
Another one is a XP100 that I got as a 7mmBR with a bad barrel. I have got a cut down 6mm Remington barrel screwed into it now and fitted to stock, but, waiting till after hunting season to rent a set of go no go gauges to make sure it head spaces. I already have 3 rifles in 6mm Remington so why not a handgun? Should be an interesting gun with a 2x6 variable pistol scope and a bipod.
I am waiting for the OK to built a silencer. Kind of ridiculous, I can by a handgun or rifle with a simple background check. But, to have a silencer, which is harmless on its own, I need to pay $200 and wait for an federal OK.

Nice looking rifle. FWIW, I've owned more than a few Bushmaster rifles/uppers over the year. I never had one that wouldn't do close to an inch at 100yds with the right ammo. Mine (with 1:9 twist) generally liked 62-69 gr bullets best.

I KNOW WHAT THE GUNS CAN DO...
The question is what am I able to do anymore. Time to make a hard/honest evaluation of my abilities, & sell off those I can't use the way they should be. Been putting it off for too long already.

It isn't a certain gun or ammo, but, I recently finished building a machine rest that works like a Ransom Rest. Even made it to use their inserts. After hunting season it will be interesting to start running my revolvers though it to get a real evaluation of their abilities instead of mine.

A CZ Scorpion EVO. I don't own one...yet. I really want to try one out before I buy, but for the life of me I cannot find an opportunity to rent/borrow one.

One of the new Marlin 1894 [Remlin] in 44 magnum. Just got to shoot it last weekend. Seems Remington has improved on the wood to metal fit and the gun fed and extracted shells OK. Finish applied to wood and bluing is sure lacking compared to the older Marlin made gun. Gun did group decent at 50 yards with the 240 grain Winchester ammo we were using. Also got to try a Savage 111 in 25-06 with synthetic stock and matte finish bluing which did produce decent groups but bolt was not so slick being a new gun perhaps. Not as eye catching as the walnut and high polish blue many of us are used to from years back but functional and utilitarian looking. Friend just bought a Ruger American in .270 Win. with stainless barrel. Looking forward to seeing this one in a few days.

Got a Burris Fastfire 2 mounted on my S&W 22a-1 and I have several brands and types of ammo. If things work out maybe I can make some squirrel stew. I also have a load worked up for my 300 Blackout. I just need to load up a batch and site in the rifle. Again, if things work out there might be some backstraps in my future.

I have two I need to sight in, a DPMS with a Vortex red dot and this Winchester war baby, an M-1 Carbine. I have shot them both to see if they functioned, but want to see what I and they can do.

Just picked it up and want to see what it can do.

My old Winchester 62A chambered in .22 Short only. I recently bought
some CCI .22 Short target ammo with unplated 29 gr solids rated at
830 fps. I've never before seen any standard velocity Shorts and am
anxious to see if they group better in my rifle than the usual plated HV
stuff. Squirrels beware :^)
